I want to say thank you for taking the time to get to know me more. I have always been involved with computers and technology, and they have always been my passion. Since childhood, I have been around computers; my father, grandfather, uncle, cousins, brother have always been fascinated with computers and technology. This passion drove me to learn all I could learn about computers.
Starting with programming, I learned the C programing language. From there, I moved into learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++, Java, PHP, Ruby, and Python. I developed the unique ability to adapt to whatever I needed to learn about for a new computer challenge as I continued learning. Eventually, once I reached college, I decided it was time to get degrees around this passion to follow my dreams of becoming a leading expert in almost all areas.
At this point, starting my education was a challenge as the regular classes that did not have technical backgrounds were, for lack of better terms, uneventful but required. Eventually, I finished my first Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security with a 3.8 GPA. However, after looking at my options with this degree, I felt it was not enough—I then decided to achieve my Master's.
When deciding on my Masters's degree, I wanted to work on something that would make me more desirable to the professional world. I already know how to code front-end and web development applications with my background. So at this point, I also wanted to know and learn about the other end of the spectrum. So while my Masters's degree's primary focus was in information technology, the specialty was as a DBA (Database Administrator). For the capstone of this degree, I developed a Centralized Management system for the DCF as a POC. This allowed for quick access to needed resources for agents and a collaborative centralized network that enabled the system to track and manage those under their care with efficiency and accuracy. Obtaining this degree with a 3.8 GPA while working full time was a challenge but worth it.
During the Masters's degree, I was able to get a job with IBM as a technical support engineer for their Netezza PDA appliance systems. So challenges of working full time and doing classes full time and raising children were adventurous. I worked in this field for about six years learning everything I could, eventually becoming an expert in some areas of Big Data and Appliances following the ASM (Appliance Support Model). With the ASM model, I assisted in elements of hardware, software, platform, networking, database, replication, and others.
However, after doing this for some time, I still felt like I wanted to look ahead, find the next avenue of technology and become a leading expert. For this, I decided to start by pursuing my Ph.D. in Data Science. This was not just about data science; it was also to start my path to understanding AI (artificial intelligence). Doing a Ph.D. level work and working full time was a crazy amount of hours, but I was able to manage my time as I have before in my past educational paths. While I am still working on my dissertation at this writing, I am looking to finish in a year and achieve my true goal.
I started to learn about Quantum Computers in the following age of computational power. As I stated, I wanted to achieve an expert level in the following age of computing. And with my background up to this point, I could develop, design, implement and manage just about anything I could dream of from the ground up. This includes incorporating AI technologies and methods to learn and improve the business process. Nevertheless, this does not include any new technologies that are part of the following age, as AI has been around for some time.
Quantum AI, I feel, is the next age of our current technological path and something I am moving to become a leading expert in. I have much background in all areas of computing and technology, but Quantum AI is a passion I feel is where I see myself, and it is my mission to help you understand and be prepared for this new age, the Quantum age as it's already heard and picking up speed. My blogs will cover all areas of my expertise, such as Big Data, Hybrid Cloud, Data and AI, Technical Support, and Quantum AI.
